Expenses for the eight-night Chanukah in Carefree (CIC) event have increased over the years as we work to make the celebration safer and more successful for our community. We welcome donations to help cover these expenses and thank you for your consideration.
Spirit in the Desert has generously offered to handle all financial management for Chanukah in Carefree at no cost. Donations can be made online at www.SpiritintheDesert.org, or by clicking the DONATE NOW link to the left.
When you donate, please designate “Chanukah in Carefree expenses” as the recipient in the online donation details. Spirit in the Desert can provide receipts for all donations received.
Special Anniversary Coffee Mugs
2026 marks our 10th anniversary, and we have created a beautiful coffee mug to commemorate the occasion. Donors who contribute at least $100 will receive a mug as our “Thank You!” for helping make a difference and adding to the light of the season.
*To claim your mug, note during your donation that you would like to be contacted about a CIC coffee mug and include your phone number. We will call you to arrange pickup. Available while supplies last.
If you have a local business serving the Cave Creek/Carefree/North Scottsdale area, please consider supporting this event. Our goal is to connect with as many local business establishments as possible to help our event be successful. Contributions can come in the form of items to raffle, e.g. Gift baskets, Gift cards, Art, Jewelry, etc. which helps raise money for our selected “Spirit of Giving” Charity. Contributions are also appreciated for food and drink donations which we serve during the event and for which the community really appreciates as well. We also greatly appreciate all donations towards our expenses which help us to ensure the overall success of the event. We welcome your ideas on how your business can get involved! Chanukah in Carefree is a volunteer-led event conducted each year during the eight nights of Chanukah for the town of Carefree. We are eager to hear your ideas on ways to make it even better.
